A Time for Everyting

Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 For every matter there is an appointed time, even a time for every pursuit under the heavens: (2) A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to uproot; (3) a time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; (4) a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; (5) a time to throw away stones, and a time to gather stones; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; (6) a time to seek, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to throw away; (7) a time to tear, and a time to sew; a time to be silent, and a time to speak; (8) a time to love, and a time to hate; a time for battle, and a time for peace.

Life or Death.

We can look at this in a couple of ways. We are born we life and come to the end of our journey and face death. Or we can look at it from another point of view, we can speak life or we can speak death.

In life we make all sorts of mistakes, people get hurt, sometimes we get hurt or we hurt other people with our actions or words. We can choose to be kind or cruel with our words and actions. People sometimes or most of the time speak before they think or do and that leads to either hurting someone or blessing someone.

Yes people hurt us and cause us pain, but we can choose what our reactions is going to be. We can choose to take revenge with actions or words, or we can release them to YHWH (God).

YHWH (God) is not blind, He sees and knows all. There is healing in His love. Don’t hate the person that wronged you, hate the sin, for we are all sinners, and we will be judged by the way we judge others. Don’t judge the sinner, judge the sin.

YHWH (God) is a Father or mercy, grace and love, how we show our love for Him is by having mercy on the person or persons who have wronged you, to show them grace and love then in spite of the hurt caused to you. It does not mean that what the person did to you was right, it means you give it to YHWH (God) to sort out in His way, He is just and fair and He will deal with them in His way and in His time.

By holding on to the hurt and pain, wont make you feel better, it will only make you bitter and will lead to more hurt and pain in the end. That bitterness will start to grow and grow and make you feel sick, emotionally, mentally and physically. Give it to YHWH (God) and bit by bit, day by day He will heal you, if you let Him.

May grace and favor be with you all this week, and may YHWH (God) bless you and keep you safe.
