So many betrayals, so many hurts and disappointments, how are you supposed to trust? Trust is to be earned and not given freely, so they say. Once your trust has been broken it will not be easy to trust again.

I think many people have felt this way, broken and hurt. You have been hurt and let down by someone who was close to you at one point of your life.

Why is it so hard to trust, we all have been down that road, you trusted someone and they let you down, whether it was your parents, spouse, partner or even a child. It’s just something that hurts.

We start to trust someone and you let that person into your heart, feeling that you can trust them with anything and to be there for you always. Only to realize one day that your trust has been broken. Shattered into a million pieces.

The thought of betrayal never even crossed your mind. You thought that, that person will never betray you or let you down and then it comes, and it hits you right between the eyes. You feel so stupid for believing that person or believing in them. How could I have been so blind? Why did I not see the signs, everyone ells saw them, why didn’t I.

Then you sit and think back, you did see the signs, the warnings signs was there, but you choose to ignore them, because how can it be, the devil is trying to play trick with my mind. But in the end, it was YHWH [God] showing you, warning you, helping you to see the truth.

We are so quick to say that someone broke my trust, but if you take a minute and really think about it, just take a moment look back, YHWH [God] was showing you to be careful, look out, watch your step, be careful.

Scripture say: put your trust in YHWH [God], and you would ask why I can’t trust anybody look what happened when I did trust. Don’t put your trust in the wrong places or people, we all have flaws and we all make mistakes.

Trust in YHWH [God], He will lead you to the right people, but also remember we are all human, we all make mistakes and have our weak moments.

For YHWH [God] is my Shepherd and He will lead me to the right paths, it doesn’t mean that your path will not be bumpy, maybe just a little less bumpy, with Him by your side.

Don’t allow trusting the wrong people in your life to harden your heart towards the right ones. YHWH [God] will guard your heart if you let Him.

May YHWH [God] guard your heart, heal your heart and cover you under His wings of protection.

Love and mercy to all.

Blessings and Shalom
